When a Collection is created, you choose a Similarity Setting that defines how closely other images must match the Original. This setting guides the AI’s grouping and cannot be changed after processing.

The three Similarity Settings are:

  • Similar Moments: Loosely groups images that share general elements (like subject or setting), but may differ in framing or composition.
  • High Similarity: Groups photos with only slight differences in pose or composition while keeping the same subject.
  • Near-Duplicates: Captures almost identical images, where even small variations matter.
